Liz is a nationally recognized writer and currently serves as a Program Officer at Peter Kiewit Foundation. Through her professional role, she works to support community vitality initiatives across Nebraska. Presently, her activities focus on leadership development, mentorship and building the capacity of the nonprofit sector to serve marginalized communities.

Erik devotes himself to the betterment of his country and his community, as evidenced by his personal hashtag, #ContinueToServe. His leadership of the Metro Young Latino Professionals Association (MYLPA) and his continued service in the National Guard highlights his dedication to serving others. Erik was recognized among 2018’s Ten Outstanding Young Omahans, and he is an alumnus of the New Leaders Council.
