MEJIAS FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
The Mejias Family has been a proud partner of Women on a Mission for Change (WMC) for over 4 years. Their continued dedication to improving our community through opportunity inspired the Women Influencing Girls (WIG) College Scholarship. At this year’s conference, the WIG scholarship was renamed The Mejias Family Scholarship in honor of the family, and to bring light to their legacy.
The Mejias Family Scholarship is offered to the young women of the WIG program to celebrate not only their achievements and accomplishments, but also to further assist the educational opportunities of these young women. Each year, one program participant is selected to receive the scholarship. Girls who are interested in applying for the scholarship must meet the program requirements and submit an application.
